My 20 plus year old garage door just died and broke. Precision sent over Antonio. They gave me a four hour window, but it seemed like he headed over almost immediately. He’s very professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. He even left my garage cleaner then when he got there. He right away put me at ease about what needed to be done and said everything went smooth as butter. I would definitely recommend him and precision.

Called on a Friday afternoon and technician Paul B. showed up at our home ~2 hours later. He did a thorough inspection of our roll-up garage door which had been making a lot of noise as of late. After his inspection he gave us three quotes for different levels of repair. Since the has been installed nearly 16 years ago we opted for the highest level of service and got new rollers, new motor with awesome LED lights, new sensors, and new interior and exterior keypads which included a lot a features we didn't have before including a phone app. Paul was very friendly and professional, he did not try to sell us on any particular option but showed us what was available to us and gave us a AAA discount, which we appreciated. We now have a virtually silent garage door with lots of bells and whistles. We're very happy we called Precision and that Paul ended up being our service provider. Thanks so much for such a good experience!

The garage door rail was damaged. We called Precision Garage Door of San Jose. They were here in less than two hours. What incredible service we received from Joel Jaimez. He reviewed our problem, as he inspected the entire system he noted several problems waiting to happen such as the cables were fraying (they were very old). He explained each situation very thoroughly along with costs. When he completed the service, he showed us each component and explained how it worked. He showed us preventative maintenance steps to take. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work and is very professional. Thanks, Joel

Excellent service. Responded the same day I contacted them and at the time they indicated. Representative was professional and courteous as well as very knowledgeable about the needs of the repair and was open and clear on what would be needed to bring my 20+ year old door up to date and functioning smoothly. All the necessary parts were on the truck so there was no need to return to complete the repairs (rollers, cables, bearings). All repairs were completed in a timely fashion.

I am very happy with the service I received from Precision Garage Door of San Jose, from making an appointment, meeting the technician within the time frame I had been given, and observing him at work. My LiftMaster garage stopped working last Saturday due to code change failure. Phillip and his colleague arrived this afternoon and quickly reprogrammed the outside remote and car remotes. Phillip noticed that one of the roller guides had jumped the rail and replaced it with a new one. Thank you, also, to the young assistant who lubricated the LiftMaster track and chain. I selected Precision Garage Door because on Saturday my garage door had a spring that had sprung, and I could not get my garage door open. I was on my way to do some shopping. I looked in the Yellow Pages under garage door repairs and your Ad was the first one I saw. It also mentioned that you did service in Sunnyvale and that is why I called. The service which was done by Joel was very professional. He answered all the questions we asked and also explained what he was doing and had done. When he gave us the quote, he explained what needed to be done and what item may pop up in the future. Also, we appreciated the fact that we could chose from two different quotes. Work was done efficiently and garage floor was left clean which I appreciated and that Joel was able to come out on a Saturday morning. We will recommend Precision Garage Door to others.

The spring on our garage door broke just after we tucked both our cars in the garage for the night. How nice to be able to call Precision at 8:30PM, talk to a real person, and make an appointment for the next day. The technician contacted us when he was on his way, well within our promised service window. He was very personable, explained our options after a thorough inspection of our door and all the components. He was even able to raise the door - Herculean strength! The estimate was detailed and he gave us alternatives. The work was done in about 1.5 hours and our door has never run more smoothly. Good job!

Precision serviceman Paul Brinkman came at 7:45 pm to repair a broken wheel off the track on my garage door. He did a clean and proper repair. When he left the door was purring. Paul’s work was outstanding—swift and meticulous. I truly value and appreciate the quality he delivered. However, I have concerns regarding the billing. While I believe Paul’s expertise warrants the cost, the breakdown suggesting a significant portion went to materials feels off. I’ve seen similar components on Home Depot and Amazon for half the price. I’m more than willing to pay for Paul’s professionalism, but I’d prefer not to feel overcharged for materials.

I had a spring and cable issue. The garage door tracks were bowed from the weight of the half collapsed door. Paul gave me a list of options that would do the repair. The work was performed after a few hours. He had all the parts on hand. He was professional and courteous. Glad I called Precision.

I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service at around 10:30AM due to my garage door malfunction. I gave a description of the problem and was told a Technician would arrive between 12:00 and 4:00PM , and I would also receive a call prior to the Techs arrival. Paul Brinkman called me at 12:45PM and informed me that he would arrive by 1:15PM. Paul arrived before 1:15PM. He was polite and friendly. Utilizing his years of experience and technical talents, Paul quickly assessed the situation, and informed me of the actions he could take to repair the garage door. I agreed to the repairs. Our drive motor gave out after more than 25 years. We called precision door service and they came out the same day and replaced our motor. Our service person, Brandon, was extremely friendly and competent. The new drive came with a motion sensor light and a panel attached to our garage so we can open it without the remote. We also got two remotes included and we purchased a third. Overall, we were very pleased with both the service and the product. I would highly recommend precision door.

I had called Precision because my garage door had issues closing and would get stuck. Joel called before arriving, did a thorough inspection and safety assessment, and made various recommendations.
