We had a wonderful technician from Precision Garage Door of San Jose repair our out of alignment garage door today.We requested their service yesterday afternoon. This company is our primary go to garage door repair service. The tech was a marvelously competent and pleasant gentleman named Sockonthier SING who rapidly diagnosed our problem and repaired it perfectly at a very reasonable charge after a month of it being out of service. They arrived on time and quite soon after I made the appointment. I was also given three options for the repair and what to expect from each. That was nice instead of being given just one option! The garage door spring broke and Bachir came same day and did an incredible replacement and service on the door. He was super authentic and not pushy at all. He explained the pros and cons of different options actually showed me the things he was speaking about. Not only did he do great work but he paid attention to detail and did far more than I thought he was going to do. Incredible work. Today Caleb provided a garage door tune up. I had called since it had become louder and I wanted to make sure there were no big issues. Caleb did a thorough evaluation, lubricated the door, spring and track. He also provided me information on basic maintenance to extend its life. This was our first experience with Precision, and it was very good. On a Saturday afternoon our heavy garage door wouldn’t connect to the motor, and couldn’t be opened manually, leaving us unable to use our car. We called the shop that normally provides garage door service, but were informed by answering machine to take 2 aspirin and they would call Monday. So we tried Precision. Within 2 hours the service tech — a most pleasant and knowledgeable gentleman — diagnosed the problem, replaced the defective parts and left us with a perfectly functioning door. And for what we considered a fair and reasonable.price. So … when we get the call on Monday from our FORMER garage door company, we can explain that our new garage door company is Precision.
