Raised in Minnesota, I came to California in the '80's. I was born to do this job, I have the knack for fixing things plus my height comes in handy for working on things overhead. I installed my first Garage Door in 1980 while in the Air National Guard. I have been fixing things for clients my whole life. When I'm not working I enjoy dining out or catching a movie with family or friends. I also like to travel, and am a fan of the TV show Family Guy. I'm often playing Texas Hold 'em Saturday nights. I enjoy working with clients, I always put the customer first. I will not just fix it, I will be sure you are satisfied with the job, and all your questions are answered.

I contacted Precision Garage Door in order to get my garage door repaired. The large spring at the top of the door had broken and the door would not open. I scheduled my appointment on-line and they were able to come out the same day. Paul, the technician, explained what needed to be done to fix the problem and also made some suggestions on some maintenance issues. We had Paul complete the necessary repairs and also asked him to replace the garage door opener with a newer model. He handled everything in a very timely manner and was extremely professional throughout the process. Once completed, the door works great and the new opener is so much better than what we originally had. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

I was able to get an appointment really quickly for the day after Thanksgiving because I called late in the day before. The Tech, Paul Brinkman, was even a little early. I had two broken screws and needed an extra remote. I also showed him that the bottom of the door had been damaged when some other workmen opened it manually and let it slam when pushing it closed. Charged me $283 to adjust the spring tension on my garage door, that took him no more than 5 minutes. He spent the most time trying to get me to replace the door wheels and install a new opener, even though they were working fine! I had used Precision to replace my door springs in 2021, I will seek garage door services elsewhere.

Our first experience was dreadful. We had the worst service representative ever. The manager was hard to deal with as well back a year ago. I will now retract my comments to the present situation. We just had Paul Brinkman come out and he made everything so very pleasant. He was polite, through and very knowledgeable. We definitely will be calling for him to install our next opener. Thank you I now send an original 1 vote from a year ago to a 10 now.

The technician that serviced our garage door was Paul Brinkman. He upgraded our obsolete LiftMaster garage door opener with a new model, complete with wall control panel, sensors, new quiet rollers, keyless entry, remotes and basic operation, and training on new technology and safety features. Our garage door was getting stuck at a fixed location while opening. I contacted Precision Door service and was told that a tech would come between 12-4 pm. The tech, Paul Brinkman, came after 5:30 pm. He told that the two springs and 3 bearings need to be replaced and would cost $1031.66. This would normally have cost much less than even half of this amount. However, since I had already waited long enough, I just wanted to be over with the repair... Precision Garage Door technician, Paul Brinkman, arrived on time. He was very patient explaining the problem to me. As my garage door was 12 years old. The torsion spring was broken and needed to be replaced; so were the bearings. The rollers need to be upgraded. He did all that and fine tuned the garage door operation in an hour or so, and all by himself. He was very courteous and professional.
