The selection of doors to choose from are very good and the quality of my (insulated garage door) install was handled by very experienced techs. The installers made every effort to fit the door and controller/motor precisely to the opening. The only delay was caused by a manufacture error to the cut size of the door on the initial attempted install schedule. ( My opening was not standard , as many homes have less than a 16' finished jam). Precision Garage door re-ordered the door to the proper cut size to fit my opening. This involved an extra few weeks of wait time but they completed the installation without any further complication thereafter. Thanks to everyone at Precision Door for placing a priority on getting my door hung fast, as soon as the correct door was made. Advice to anyone considering a New or Replacement Garage Door.....Measure twice, Cut once.!! and Order 2 months before you want installation. That will ensure the process goes smoothly.

Phillip N was our garage installer technician. He came out promptly at the 8 am time frame, which was great so we didn't have to wait for him to arrive. He evaluated our garage issue and immediately figured out the issue. It wasn't a motor issue but a broken spring. He was able to give me options which were detailed and allowed me to make an informed decision. He repaired the spring and was done in less than 2 hours. The Precision Door Service installed our second garage door 5 years ago. They were very professional and personable. We had no problem with the door till early this morning. I had trouble opening the garage door and had to disengage it. They immediately booked a service in a same day. But it ended up nothing was wrong with the door but some insect blocked a sensor. Phillip Nguyen was very professional and did a great work repairing our garage door. He fixed everything that needed to get fixed in about an hour. After he was done with the repairs he took the time to go over with me to make sure everything was properly working. He gave me some tips about the regular maintenance to the garage door to extend the life of it. Price was fair and he did an excellent job. We are 100% satisfied with the services. Very professional and thorough service, our tech was scheduled to arrive in the afternoon, same day. We received a call notifying that he may be able to arrive a little early. Received another call shortly after saying it'll be a little bit later due to being rerouted, many techs won't even bother to notify you they'll just show up late. Arrived on site, gave an opinion on what was required to complete the job as expected, discussed additional options to improve the performance of the system. Not a quick and easy job due to the the door being installed poorly by the prior techs, but it was dialed in and running smooth before you knew it on a Sunday afternoon. Thx

I waited too long to complete this review and now have forgotten the young man's name. Regardless, I've been impressed with my two interactions with this company as it's clear they emphasize customer service. I find that refreshing because they really are the only name when it comes to this service and I'm not sure they need to go the extra mile. The young man who fixed my issue is attending college in Santa Clara, Ca. and will soon be graduating AND getting married. He's from Tennessee I believe and was a true pleasure to talk to. So I'd like to tell you as an owner of this company how impressed I was with your employee. I'd also tell his parents if I had the chance, you raised a fine young man and should be commended. The replacement of my broken torsion spring was timely, efficient, and of high quality. Mike R. was skilled and polite. His work was excellent. My only complaint is the price of replacement safety cables. Adding the cables would have added about $300 to my bill. A set of two cables costs only $8.98 at Home Depot. I would have trotted over there, bought a pair, and installed them before Mike arrived with the replacement spring had I been warned about the high price of cables through Precision.

Blake did an outstanding job. We had a 26 yr. old system in need of major repair. Blake laid out three different options for the work, including costs, warranties, and discounts. We opted for the complete repair and replacement of the system including two new remote controllers. Blake worked diligently and thoroughly with minimum clutter to our garage. His people skills and customer service were exceptionally high. He showed us how to operate the new system, and we were delighted with the smooth quiet operation, once installed. Blake also made strategic adjustments to the frame of the system to avoid wear and tear on the moving parts, the garage door itself, and improve alignment of the whole system. We would highly recommend Blake and Precision Door to anyone.
