We have a VERY old garage door that has been pretty reliable. Unfortunately, one of the sensors was damaged when some work was being done and the door would not close automatically. We found Precision Garage Door Service via Yelp. Beginning with our initial phone call, our needs were met, and even exceeded, by your staff. Laken answered our call and scheduled us for the following day. Mario and John were our technicians. They arrived within the stated timeframe and got right to work accessing the issue. The sensor was indeed the main problem. After talking with Mario we decided to also replace some of the rollers. He explained how the system works in a way that was easy to understand, but not condescending, which I appreciated. They worked extremely efficiently and quickly. I would definitely not hesitate to contact them in the future for any issues that arise.

If I could give 10 stars I would ! I had a basic service call and from the beginning felt as if I was a valued customer. Very professional from the phone call making the appointment (and was offered same day service !)- to the call notifying me the tech was on his way. Both technicians were knowledgeable and explained what i needed and showed me things about my opener that would be good to know should I have an emergency. Then they did an excellent job putting on a trim on the bottom of the door that I needed - with PRECISION ! 10 star service !!

Mario was wonderful! He came out on Mother's Day, assessed the issue, gave me an estimate of the cost for a few different options and did a GREAT job. I am so appreciative of his efforts. I'm very glad I chose Precision Garage Door of San Jose, and favorably impressed with technician Mario. He does the right things, and understands why. To balance the weight of the door, the spring needs to pull very hard when the door is almost closed, but much less when the door is fully open and in the tracks overhead. Mario chose the correct springs and made careful adjustments so the door opener motor doesn't have to work hard either opening or closing. He also lubricated all the moving parts. The door and opener are now smooth and quiet -- should last a long time. Good job!

This company is amazing. Once discovering our broken malfunctioning garage door, we called Precision based on other reviews and they were right on. They understood the problem and were there to repair it on a Sunday no less. Mario, our service tech was knowledgeable and courteous and understood the issue. I chatted online with Holly Y at Precision on the Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend about my garage door's antics and the need to have a pro check it out. Holly offered a time slot for the next morning, a Saturday, which wasn't convenient for me. I thought my next opportunity would be Tuesday after the long weekend, but Holly said she could have a technician come out on Sunday morning. I was very (pleasantly) surprised to have a tech come out on a Sunday! Sunday morning Mario Mojica, the technician, called about a half hour before he arrived to make sure that would be a convenient time. Mario was professional and courteous and fixed the problem easily and quickly. I definitely recommend Precision to anyone whose garage door needs attention.

Mario called about 30 minutes of arrival. He checked over my problem and said a bracket was bent and broken and that 10 rollers were not doing their job. He replaced all 10 of them and the bracket and greased up the screw drive and hinges. He was neat, polite, and informed me exactly what the problem was. The door worked well after servicing and was noticeably more quiet when opening and closing. Job well done! You have a great employee. Thank you, Ken....
