We've used Precision Garage Door several times over the years. This last week, I called them to service our door. I was pleased that they were able to come promptly -- no long wait. After they completed inspection, they indicated some of the problems I was experiencing were due to worn equipment. I elected to replace our rather old opener and all the associated hardware (springs, pulleys, etc.) They provided me the choice of new models - and I selected one that allows me to control it via app, which is super cool. They had all items needed on their truck and within a few hours had a new opener all up and running. It certainly wasn't as cheap as the guy-in-a-truck or buying something at Lowe's and hiring a handyman, but they had all the right equipment, and installed it well quite quickly. I continue to be pleased with their work and can recommend them if you need your garage door or opener repaired or replaced.

Paul came to fix my garage door spring and he is very knowledgeable and replaced springs, bearing, rollers. I have updated this review after finding an issue. He removed one of the Genie cable keeper (unique to wall mount opener unit) to reduce noise and said it is not needed at all. But this potentially put a time bomb to garage door because the nature of wall mount unit, which drives directly from the bar instead of door. The cable keeper tightened the cable during closing the door to help pull the door down. This is not needed for belt type of opener at all. Contact Precision Garage Door to ask Paul to return the cable keeper and sent text to him as well. No response. I am disappointed after paying $1590 and I have to buy replacement from Genie for additional $40 and the time wasted to address this issue. I also found a gap between door and frame on upper left was introduced after the repair.

The finished work left us with a garage door working as if new. Professional work done quickly and thoroughly by a very competent technician. The cost was appropriate for the service performed. A very satisfying outcome.

They are overpriced and seems to charge a lot more. Another issue, I found there time window to arrive and message when they actually arrive is way off. I received message that technician is on it way at 1:30 pm but actual time when he arrived was 4:00 pm. Also I had to call there office to follow up multiple times to check the eta. The technician was good and did basic check and replace springs but they charged me way more than other competitors.
