I had Precision Door Service come out to fix my garage door after it suddenly stopped working. The technician was courteous, arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed the issue: a broken torsion spring and a wobbly roller. He initially quoted me nearly $1,500 to replace both torsion springs, the ball bearing, and all the rollers. That seemed high, especially since only one roller was wobbly. When I mentioned I was getting multiple estimates, he waived the service fee and gave me a revised quote for just replacing the two springs and one ball bearing — which I accepted. The final total was $779.85. The garage door now works well, and the technician did a professional job. However, I was surprised that the parts warranty was only 1 year, especially for premium powder-coated springs. Most companies offer 3–5 years for similar components, often at lower prices. While I appreciate the quick service, I’d recommend getting a second quote before committing. A longer warranty and more transparency upfront would have made this a 5-star experience.

Salvador, came out to my house to work on the door. He arrived at the promised time He diagnosed that the problem was likely that the door was opening to far for the type of door. This caused one of the spools to unwind. He, had to realign the door, respool one of the cables and re-adjusted the springs. He double checked and tested everything, he made sure the door was aligned and working properly. The nice thing was he assured me that he would not leave until the door was working. Salvatore, did was very professional and did excellent job. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door.

They put in my door 11 months ago. The technician was very professional, courteous, and a good salesman. When I mentioned I was unhappy with the door as it broke in 11 month's, he convinced me to upgrade rollers and cable disks for $653 +. I consider this a high price, considering what I paid for the original door. Apparently there is an upgrade kit that includes rollers, cable disks and springs for around $500.00, but that is only available for new customers. If I have a problem with the door in the near future ( that is not my fault), I will be using a different company.

My garage door opener was stuck in the locked closed position and i could not understand how ton reset it. I called as i could not get service from Sears for the Kenmore opener. Within 30 minutes after my call, Joel arrived and was able to assess the situation, give me a quote, and after approval, reset the programming, fixed a part, lubricated the system, and moved s plant frond stuck in the door. He changed the keypad battery snd gave me an estimate for future maintenance that would ensure proper operation moving forward. I was very happy either way his work, his helpful attitude, honesty, and promptness. Very good experience. Reasonable price. Excrllent technician!

Serviceman (David Lopez) was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and thorough. Work was very well done and I am very pleased with the result (springs, rollers, cables...) Two concerns: 1) to pay by credit card I had to provide the card number, expiration date, and security code -- all the info that anyone would need to use the card anywhere. I hope you protect that info very very well. 2) it ended up being quite a bit more expensive than I anticipated, tho I recognize that it's hard to predict cost as situations can vary a lot. BTW - very good experience with the web site, too.

Your service repairman, David, arrived promptly at 9:30. He quickly inspected and assessed the problem and came up with an itemized list of what was needed to repair the damage and what was optional. He gave us a quote but also said we were eligible for a senior discount. Upon agreeing with the terms, he began repairing our broken garage door opener. He was done by 11:00. The door works smoothly. David was courteous and informative the whole time. If we need further help, I told him we would ask for him specifically.

Our spring broke late Friday night and we thought we wouldn't find anyone so last minute who would be able to come in and get this fixed over the weekend. David remembered the commercials and said lets give them a try. We called Saturday morning and Alexis got us an appointment for that afternoon.
