My 20 plus year old garage door just died and broke. Precision sent over Antonio. They gave me a four hour window, but it seemed like he headed over almost immediately. He’s very professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. He even left my garage cleaner then when he got there. He right away put me at ease about what needed to be done and said everything went smooth as butter. I would definitely recommend him and precision.

Called on a Friday afternoon and technician Paul B. showed up at our home ~2 hours later. He did a thorough inspection of our roll-up garage door which had been making a lot of noise as of late. After his inspection he gave us three quotes for different levels of repair. Since the has been installed nearly 16 years ago we opted for the highest level of service and got new rollers, new motor with awesome LED lights, new sensors, and new interior and exterior keypads which included a lot a features we didn't have before including a phone app. Paul was very friendly and professional, he did not try to sell us on any particular option but showed us what was available to us and gave us a AAA discount, which we appreciated. We now have a virtually silent garage door with lots of bells and whistles. We're very happy we called Precision and that Paul ended up being our service provider. Thanks so much for such a good experience!

Excellent service. Responded the same day I contacted them and at the time they indicated. Representative was professional and courteous as well as very knowledgeable about the needs of the repair and was open and clear on what would be needed to bring my 20+ year old door up to date and functioning smoothly. All the necessary parts were on the truck so there was no need to return to complete the repairs (rollers, cables, bearings). All repairs were completed in a timely fashion.

I am very happy with the service I received from Precision Garage Door of San Jose, from making an appointment, meeting the technician within the time frame I had been given, and observing him at work. He knew exactly what to do, explained what he was doing and got the work done. After that, he made sure that the garage door would operate properly and cleaned up the garage floor!!He was very patient and tolerated my dog who wanted to be noticed! I selected Precision Garage Door because on Saturday my garage door had a spring that had sprung, and I could not get my garage door open. I was on my way to do some shopping. I looked in the Yellow Pages under garage door repairs and your Ad was the first one I saw. It also mentioned that you did service in Sunnyvale and that is why I called. The service which was done by Joel was very professional. He answered all the questions we asked and also explained what he was doing and had done. When he gave us the quote, he explained what needed to be done and what item may pop up in the future. Also, we appreciated the fact that we could chose from two different quotes. Work was done efficiently and garage floor was left clean which I appreciated and that Joel was able to come out on a Saturday morning. We will recommend Precision Garage Door to others.

Our garage door broke early on a Saturday morning. Precision send out a very friendly courteous technician who explained exactly what was wrong and what parts needed replacement. Whole process took 90 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

The spring on our garage door broke just after we tucked both our cars in the garage for the night. How nice to be able to call Precision at 8:30PM, talk to a real person, and make an appointment for the next day. The technician contacted us when he was on his way, well within our promised service window. He was very personable, explained our options after a thorough inspection of our door and all the components. He was even able to raise the door - Herculean strength! The estimate was detailed and he gave us alternatives. The work was done in about 1.5 hours and our door has never run more smoothly. Good job!

Precision serviceman Paul Brinkman came at 7:45 pm to repair a broken wheel off the track on my garage door. He did a clean and proper repair. When he left the door was purring. Thanks Precision I have used you numerous times now and you always have come same day no matter the time and got me going again. I really appreciate that with all the homeless that troll the neighborhood just looking for something to steal.

Paul’s work was outstanding—swift and meticulous. I truly value and appreciate the quality he delivered. However, I have concerns regarding the billing. While I believe Paul’s expertise warrants the cost, the breakdown suggesting a significant portion went to materials feels off. I’ve seen similar components on Home Depot and Amazon for half the price. I’m more than willing to pay for Paul’s professionalism, but I’d prefer not to feel overcharged for materials.

I had a spring and cable issue. The garage door tracks were bowed from the weight of the half collapsed door. Paul gave me a list of options that would do the repair. The work was performed after a few hours. He had all the parts on hand. He was professional and courteous. Glad I called Precision.

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to let you know what an excellent job Joel Jaimez did installing my new garage opener, springs and other parts. I had called Precision because my garage door had issues closing and would get stuck. Joel called before arriving, did a thorough inspection and safety assessment, and made various recommendations. He was earnest, polite, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my questions, educated me on how to maintain my new equipment and was clear and professional in his communication. It left me with a really good impression of Precision, and I would highly recommend your services and Joel Jaimez to all my friends and family.

Customer service was polite and quickly set up my appointment using the information I gave her. The technician and his assistant called to give me their arrival time. They quickly analyzed the problem and corrected the sensor and did a quick lubrication. Th technician also took the time to leave detailed information on how to follow up. I am extremely happy dealing with Precision for their services and would refer them to anyone needing garage door purchases or repairs.

Be prepared to pay at least $1,700 for repair (my garage door had a broken spring). The repairman did a efficient job of repairing my garage door. He did something to let me raise the door in case of a power failure, but he didn't tell me what it was, and now I am unable to raise the door by myself. I assume he did this to require me to call for repair in case of a power failure. Not cool!

We needed a door and motor replacement. As advertised your staff was awesome and efficient. Our installer, Moises, did an fantastic job. He called ahead, arrived before the scheduled time and reviewed the system with us including all the options for use 4th our phones. He swept up all the debris, ours and his and took it with him. We have only had it for two days but it is so silent and works perfectly. Your Company is everything it advertises it is! We have worked with many companies on a variety of repairs, alterations and additions. You deserve a 6 star review!

Our technician was Phillip Nguyen and he was absolutely outstanding. He installed 2 garage door openers (for large and small doors, as well as the remote controls and the "My Q" app on our iPhones). He performed the service on March 15, 2023 and we apologize for the delay in providing this rating due to our traveling. But, we could not let his customer-focused attitude go without notice. He was meticulous and took extra care to ensure that we understood how to operate the doors and the app. We selected him, because of the narrative he provided on your website and customer ratings.
