My spring broke, they had appointments available within 2 hours. I think they said they were open til 11pm, and there was no after hours or weekend charge. My tech, Patrick, called 30 minutes out and arrived 12 minutes into the 4 hour time frame. He inspected it, made some recommendations, and got everything done in about an hour. New spring, bearings and spindle, $870. I was very happy with the outcome.

Precision came to my home the same day I called. He arrived promptly at the time I was given. He looked at my garage door and the Liftmaster unit. He pointed out potential issues, which I chose not to address that day. However, everything I requested was done: all other signals removed and a new signal used. I purchased a new remote & keypad. The code for the keypad was changed and he had me test everything. They were prompt, thorough and courteous.

Wow what a positive experience we just had with Rodney! He gave us a 45 minutes heads up, and then a call 5 minutes prior to arriving. What is there not to love about Precision? We’ve always had a great experience. It’s great to call a company, especially on the weekend and speak to a live person who is pleasant and helpful. I called Sunday morning and Paul Brinkman, our service tech came out a few hours later. He gave us a courtesy call letting us know he was on the way. Paul was prompt, professional and efficient. He was thorough, took the time to explain the repairs and replaced the backup battery to our garage door which had been beeping for days. Could not get garage door open, neither automatic nor manual. Called my usual company, no one answered. Called Precision and Caleb Winchester was here within one hour! Broken spring replaced within an hour. Great service, great guy! But, almost $1000! Probably the same with any company but price was shocking! For fast service I would definitely recommend Precision and Caleb Winchester!

Phillip with Precision garage door was on time, explained options for repairs of our door. In the end I'm glad I chose the more expensive option. Phillp showed me the worn out items. Needed a broken door spring replaced. Fortunately 2 were available in the truck. The job tool about 40 minutes and included lubricating all joints and the screw drive on both doors. Well done. Labor price was fair but the springs were a bit over priced.

My garage door spring broke at 6:30pm. I called Precision and Rodney arrived at 8p. He fixed the springs, bearings and rollers in 90 minutes. He explained every part and repair process and did a great job. Should be good for 10 years now. Spent more than expected but you get what you pay for. No complaints here.

We had an emergency, one of the chains on our garage doors snapped and we couldn't get the garage door open/closed to get to work. I got onto the Precision Garage Door website and within a few minutes they had booked someone in to come out later that morning. I then received an email where I was given the name of the consultant (Paul Brinkman) who had been assigned to our appointment. I was even able to track how far away he was from my house to know when to expect him. Very Impressed with the online service I received. Once Paul arrived the amazing service continued. Our doors, motors and hardware were very, very old (20-30 years old). Paul reviewed the situation and provided recommendations. He kindly gave us a few different quotes for the different options he recommended. Once my husband and I decided on the what we were going to go with, Paul was able to carry out the work right away. Thanks to Paul's fantastic work, at the end of the day both of our garage doors were now back up and running, smoothly and super quietly. Salvador Alvarez came to my home several weeks ago because my garage door no longer opened and closed from the keypad. After assessing the situation, Salvador let me know the motor was going out. Because I could still open the door from the car remote I said I’d wait until the motor died to replace it. I recently revisited that decision and decided to have the motor replaced. Salvador was so helpful during his first visit, I requested him again. Such a good decision. He replaced the whole motorized system and did a fantastic job. After the installation, he patiently helped me reprogram the car remote and install the MyQ app so I can open and close the door when away from home. I am so grateful I decided to have the motor replaced and that I requested Salvador do the work. I will definitely request him for any needs in the future.

I found a broken door spring this morning and called Precision Garage Door of San Jose. Paul Brinkman arrived on time and it was obvious that he’s a highly skilled garage door technician who knows his stuff. He suggested a few things that I thought didn’t need replacing, but he also gave me good advice and explained why they might have been a good idea. He agreed with some of my assessment and finished the work on time and in a way that was appropriate. Since I’m a bit of a “DIY” kind of guy, he also gave me some tips for fixing minor issues on my own. I really enjoyed Paul’s friendly nature and his vast knowledge of related science. Paul clearly enjoys his work and it was a pleasure to be around as he worked through the various issues with our door.
