Our garage door opener spring broke on a Sunday and our vehicle was stuck in the garage. We called Precision, having seen their commercials on TV, and booked service for Monday morning. Their service tech., Antonio, showed up promptly and gave us quotes for the recommended service. We opted for the recommended service and two hours later our garage door was operating like new. Antonio was polite, professional, friendly, and very efficient in his work. We will call precision for any future garage door problems, and will recommend them to our friends.

I called to get an estimate because my garage door broke that morning... Maybe 40 minutes later my technician. Joel showed up (on time). I thought he was there to give me a quote but not only that he was ready to install... Price was fair and timing was incredible!! Maybe an hour and a half later the job was about done... But I must say Joel put in his personal touch and made some final adjustments... I must say great job and thank you. Joel and Precision!

I had a problem with my opener. Paul Brinkman was scheduled for the next day. He called ahead of time, arrived on time and was very friendly and professional and sure knew his stuff. My door was fixed and operational in less than an hour. I will call Precision the next time I need garage door service and request Paul.

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The tech inspected the garage door and gave three options in the order of cost that would require to fix it. He could not provide the exact reason for the malfunctioning of the door. First option he gave had a quick change of programming required which he boasted as if the door is going to require a lot of effort and time to fix it. He spent less than 10 minutes in reprogramming and charged $335 for this. Extremely disappointed by this and would not recommend your company to anyone. I’m also going to post a public review.

Precision had installed my garage door in 2016 and it is still perfect. It was my very old opener that finally failed after 19 years and Precision was my go to for a replacement. Great same day service and the technician was sooooo nice and knowledgeable giving me all the options available. He did not try to upsell anything, but gave me the facts and figures and let me decide with no pressure at all! So refreshing to have trustworthy people to work with. Thank you Precision Door! If I could give 10 stars I would ! I had a basic service call and from the beginning felt as if I was a valued customer. Very professional from the phone call making the appointment (and was offered same day service !)- to the call notifying me the tech was on his way. Both technicians were knowledgeable and explained what i needed and showed me things about my opener that would be good to know should I have an emergency. Then they did an excellent job putting on a trim on the bottom of the door that I needed - with PRECISION ! 10 star service !!

I was interested in how to keep the rollers lubricated and he showed me how and then showed me where to do the same thing with the hinges. Very helpful!! Fast, efficient, and complete service in one visit. Antonio was really good! He knew his job, and had all the tools to get it done. He worked quickly and efficiently, and addressed my needs at every step in the process. Given the age of the opener I was using, and the wear and tear over the past 24 years, upgrading to a new opener and springs was what I needed. Antonio cleaned up as he went, so that when he was finished, he simply put his tools away and was able to drive away. Joel was prompt and efficient. We had springs break a couple of years ago and this time our sensors weren't working properly so he replaced them and serviced the door as well. He came out and replaced them for us. He is a pleasure to work with; explained all costs; was timely and got the job done well. It was nice to have him return to my home since I'd worked with him before and he'd done a great job then and now!

Called in evening with malfunctioning garage doors and service was provided the very next morning. A technician called in the early part of the 4 hour arrival window to leave a message that he was arriving in 15 minutes. My husband was unable to decipher any of the message due to poor quality English spoken very fast. I am fluent in Spanish and was able to make out that his name was Paulino. Our experience with him was mixed. He assessed and repaired the problem competently and expeditiously and did not pressure me to replace unnecessary parts. He also provided, but only upon asking, suggestions about future maintenance. When I expressed my sticker shock at the $1,800 cost of the repair, which included new springs, cables, wheels, and some tightening and lubricating, he was dismissive of my concern brushing it off as purely inflationary. My husband ran a manufacturing business for many years and is well aware of industry markup margins for parts. When we reviewed the invoice in detail, it became clear to us a large component of the “inflation” was on the part of Precision, Paulino, or both. We realized it was a classic ripoff. There were also red flags about the overall dubious professional trustworthiness of this technician. We will take our business elsewhere for any future service.

I appreciate the quick response that Precision provided to address the issue with my garage door. Two questions: 1) The service charge of $69.95, though was discounted by 50%, for just calling for service and set up an appointment, is to me an extra or unnecessary charge. I call MD's office to make an appointment to see the doctor, the receptionist will gather my info and set the appointment time, was there a charge for making that phone call? 2) One of my garage door sensor mounting rack was broken by an accident. I expected a replacement of the rack and check/align the circuit/sensor to solve the problem (It is not found under below "Purchase a New Product?). Instead the technician simply cut off the existing sensors/wires and replaced with a pair of new sensors, mounted, wired and aligned to function. The parts was an unexpected charge of $181.82, Should this be communicated clearly to the customer prior to the work starts to avoid a feeling of being overcharged or even ripped off? So if I'd recommend Precision to others, I will warn them to be alert the cost could be high no matter how small the issue is.

I called Precision Garage at 8 PM on a Wednesday and a technician was at house by 9 then next morning. The repair was done very well, the tech educated me on the operation of my garage door and I now have a better door than before. Precision dispatchers and techs were kind, informed and the price was very reasonable. Thanks for turning an unexpected situation I to a stress-free repair. Well done
