And I appreciated that he was honest about the fact that the motor was old and would need replacing eventually, time frame unknown, though it’s working fine now. Tech Andrey came out, examined our situation, had 3 estimates for us in a manner of minutes. We were not pressured to commit to any proposal, but at the same time he had the parts in the van n was ready to go. The total was more than I had estimated, but I don't think it was outside the range, just residing on the high side. You get what you pay for, and they do good work.

Garage door spring busted in the middle of a Friday night with an explosion, trapping my car, made an appointment late Saturday afternoon, and STILL was up & running by 6pm. No upsales, no "oh this not be cheap" spiel, just in and out, and probably less than an hour. And it probably didn't cost much more than calling Roto-Rooter on a Saturday night.

I got a new opener to replace my 30 year old one. It’s a great quality unit and so quiet! Joel was fantastic at assessing my needs and helping me choose the best model for me. He stayed late to make sure the job was done right and took time to teach me what I needed to learn about how to use it and let me practice. Joel was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. 5 stars in my opinion!

Not every company is the same - thankfully! My garage door had been damaged by a family member hitting it with a car. In my haste for repair I first called another garage door company that had surprisingly good 'yelp' ratings; they massively overcharged me for the work they had done and then started telling me I needed to pay a crazy price for a new garage door opener as well. Once I realized what was going on I stopped working with them and called Precision Garage Door instead, after verifying they were professionally certified and a well established company. I only wish I had called them first! Even though by the time I called it was already the afternoon, they set up a same day appointment for someone to come out and give me an estimate and if needed a same day repair. Paul Brinkman arrived as promised and quickly diagnosed the issues, which unsurprisingly included not only my original problems but also some problems that had been completely overlooked by the first company. He also pointed out that I didn't need a new garage door opener because my old one was working fine, and the real problem was all the work the other company had not done. He got right to work and had my door working better than before for about half of what the other company had told me I would need to pay! Absolutely top quality work, and Paul was friendly and informative as well. I will absolutely be calling Precision Garage Door again for future garage door maintenance!

Phillip came out on a Friday night after the Spring broke on our garage door. He gave 3 options for repair and we chose to replace most of the parts since our garage door was fairly old. He explained everything he was doing and gave advice on how to maintain the longevity of the door. It's a bit pricey but understandable since they urgently can triage everything and fix it on the spot. It's a good thing we decided to replace all the parts since a couple of the brackets looked like they would fall apart any day. Phillip was wonderful throughout the process, would recommend him for anything related to garage doors
