Just had my garage door fixed by Andrey Brodskiy of Precision Garage Door of San Jose, and he did an excellent job! The worm gear drive mechanism on my 27-year-old home had started to breakdown, was failing to open all the way and made a lot of noise. Andrey came in, analyzed the problems with my system right away, and presented several options in different price ranges that would correct the issues I was experiencing. I made my selection, and he got right to work. A new Lift Master belt drive system was installed, along with new ball bearing door rollers. The new system not only works great, but it's also extremely quiet, and Andrey was able to do all this while I pestered him with questions! (I'm an engineer and naturally curious) I not only got a top-quality installation but got a great education at the same time! And I'll no longer wake up my neighbors when I leave for work early in the morning! I'm very happy! Thanks Andrey!

Salvador was GREAT! Very knowledgeable, and he came back a second time to pair a remote, which I very much appreciated. The garage door opener is quiet and works well. I gave it four stars instead of five, though, because NONE of the technology (open/close the door from my phone, etc) works for me. My condo is too far from the garage for my WiFi to work. Precision should ask these questions before sending out their installers.

Nathaniel Lapidez showed up at 3:15 and rebuilt my door New motor Springs Rollers on this 30 year old door. He was very professional and explained everything and got the work done quickly. Very professional! When I called for an appointment, I was told what to expect nd sure enough, everything was just what the scheduler said. I did not need a new motor, as the prior repair person said, Precision’s workers replace a roller and a couple of pulleys, replace light bulbs and ensured both the garage door opener and the keypad opener worked before they left!

Overall a very good job. I had new door installed in August and new motor installed just now. Unfortunately they did not honor the original quote from the motor from 2 months ago and charge me $250 more. Would have been nice if they honored the original quote.
