We have been Precision Door a customer since 2000 which included two new garage doors - the 1st was to replace the original on the house, new door opener, and maintenance as needed. We have been 5 Star customers from then to today when they come out to replace the door opener. The products are superior, the installlers/service technicians are knowledgeable and professional. They arrive on time, the work is completed in timely manner. When on occasion we have interacted with the ofice staff they have been great too. Whether we have needed their services on a scheduled or emergency basis - they have been there for us.We have recommended Precision to our friends and neighbors, and will never use anyone else!

I had a previous visit and was happy with it. When my opener started having problems I called the company. They sent out a very competent technician and he did the instalation. He was very friendly and answered all my question. I would let him work on my opener anytime.

Paul kept in contact with me throughout the day updating me on when he would be arriving. He inspected the garage door, springs, and the opener and came up with ideas on how to repair/ replace the unit. He provided 3 options and gave honest details for each. What an outstanding job Paul Brickman did with our 37-year-old failing garage door and intermittent opener/mechanism! The original opener was installed when we built our home, with minimum to no maintenance done thereafter. I'm so pleased that I found “Precision Garage Door Co. in our Santa Clara “Diamond Certified Directory” They set up an appointment for the very next day. Paul, our technician, arrived at our home on time and explained what needed to be done either for a temporary fix or to replace the mechanism completely with all the new parts needed. Paul took the time to show me the worn-out parts, explain why they should be replaced and to answer all the technical questions I had. My wife and I agreed to do the project the “RIGHT WAY” and Paul got started. He had all the necessary parts on his truck without going back to the warehouse. When he had finished the installation, Paul took the time to explain to my wife and me the operation and safety features of the newly installed opener. I’m sure our repair took longer than he expected as he left around 11:15 PM. I would unquestionably recommend “Precision Garage Door Co” to anyone needing garage door repairs. Service was excellent! Jose Brizuela was very professional. He showed up on time, assessed the issues with my door, and explained the steps for the repair. He provided a couple of quotes for different levels of repair, and completed the job on time. He also left the space clean. Jose replaced the door rollers, cables, cable wheels and bearings, lubricated and adjusted everything. I'm very happy with the service. The only reason I did not give five stars, is because of the price. I believe the cost was a bit expensive, but I guess everything these days is very costly.

Technician showed up as expected and quickly re-programmed the key pad and remote. Wasn't able to program my car to open the garage door since the opener is old and not really compatable with the new cars. It was a very quick and efficient appointment. Thanks for the great service!

Excellent service! We called and got a same-day appointment. Antonio came out and was timely, polite, and did excellent work - he did not try to oversell any parts or services. Not only was the work excellent and the service top-notch from the time I made the phone call to when Antonio left, the service was super quick, the pricing was on point, and I have a working garage door only hours after it broke. I HIGHLY recommend Precision!

Absolutely amazing customer service. I was fully prepared to wait weeks for what I wanted. Precision Door Service provided same day service, super friendly staff, more than fair pricing and they cleaned up and left the job site better than when they arrived. Philip the technician did a great job programming my multiple remote garage door openers and doing routine maintenance with the garage door itself, which has always operated well since Precision stalled it six years ago. My less than 5 star review relates to the very excessive charge to replace 12 green rollers, which I am not even sure was actually needed. The invoice said that the 12 four inch rollers cost $374.16 ($37.41 each) plus tax. When I looked up the actual cost of them at Amazon, the prices quoted were less than $25 ($2.59 each) for ten nylon rollers, or less than $41 ($4 each). The ones at Home Depot were similarly priced at about $2 to $4 each. Precision seems to be charging about ten times what these rollers cost elsewhere My advice would be to get the excellent techs from Precision to do the installation, but to first order the exact same materials needed from other places, for them to use.

Tony was great - On time and very efficient. He explained everything that was needed and being done. Although your material prices seem to include labor (no labor charged). they are many times the listed prices for the same parts elsewhere. Overall, not a good "bang for the buck"

I'm very glad I chose Precision Garage Door of San Jose, and favorably impressed with technician Mario. He does the right things, and understands why. To balance the weight of the door, the spring needs to pull very hard when the door is almost closed, but much less when the door is fully open and in the tracks overhead. Mario chose the correct springs and made careful adjustments so the door opener motor doesn't have to work hard either opening or closing. He also lubricated all the moving parts. The door and opener are now smooth and quiet -- should last a long time. Good job!

I needed a replacement backup battery for my Liftmaster garage door opener. An appointment was available the next day, within a 4-hour window. I was told the technician would call about 15 minutes before his arrival. I didn't get a call, and just happened to look out my front window - the truck was parked in my neighbor's driveway across the street! I walked over and said um... I think you're at the wrong house. :-) Happy that he showed up in the early part of that 4-hour window, and the job was finished quickly. I expected to pay more for the part than if I ordered it myself, but it was 4 times the cost of what I would have paid at Home Depot or Amazon. That seems a bit extreme, but happy to get it fixed.

Terrible experience! Stay away from Paulino M and this company. I could barely understand what he was talking about. He made a poor problem diagnosis and suggested replacing the springs, rollers, pulleys, and wires to fix my garage door problem. After I paid him $1700, the door could not close. He told me then that I need to replace the opener and left me with the problems that he did not diagnose at the beginning. So I paid for the things that were totally unnecessary. He is using his hammer loosely, hit the door trim twice unnecessarily and broke it. Terrible. Terrible!. How these people qualify to work? Stay away from this place, don't take their quote and diagnosis. Totally unqualified! Zero stars.
