The professional showed up within the 4-hour window. He went through a though check of every component of the system. He explained very clearly what components needed to be replaced. Then he used a pad connected to the office via internet to give me a quote. He completed installing a new opener and replaced all defected components within three hours. A invoice was sent to me after a few minutes to my email. The system works great! This is the second time we used Precision. The office answered the Hone calls promptly. Very professional!

My garage door stopped working halfway closed/open and it was getting late in the afternoon. I did not want to leave it that way overnight. Precision Garage Door sent Paul B. to fix the problem. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He promptly replaced the cables and got the door working. I was pleased with the great service.

I found your information in a Diamond Certified Directory, From my initial call I was treated professionally and the employee that arrived, on time as promised, Jerry was very knowledgeable and explained his findings and what needed to be done to correct my issues. Service was completely promptly by Paulino. Thanks for coming out the next morning...HOWEVER... it cost us $1000 instead of $350 for just the springs! I had a broken spring on the left side...which meant both springs needed to be replaced for "safety" reasons. After looking at the door, Paulino suggested we replace the 4" rollers (10 of them $325.00) and 2 loose bearings ($250).... I felt it was a TOTAL up-sell (money maker for them)...and we didn't have time to look into what could possible be wrong with the rollers. Felt scammed. The job was complete in 45 minutes...FAST! That was a quick $1000 for Precision. Geez.

Today, I had an opportunity to meet Mario and Alex. They came to the house, provided a diagnosis and repaired my garage door in less than two hours. I called around 4:30 pm on Tuesday when my garage door couldn't be opened. I was told all Precision techs were booked and got scheduled for Jerry to arrive at 12:30-4:30 pm next day. Jerry did call around 1 pm and said he was with another customer and gave me an updated arrival time between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. Around 3:10 pm Mario whose picture was not even on the website called and told me he's coming instead around 4 pm. He showed up 5 minutes to four. Up to now, not quite that great. I was, however, quite impressed with Mario's professional skill. He very quickly identified the problem - the spring was broken. He also suggested roller replacements for better performance. After I agreed to the detailed quote he showed me, he patiently replaced the springs and the rollers. He even helped re-locate the locking mechanism so I now can lock the garage door. Finally he spray-lubricated all the moving parts of the garage door. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and neat.

The new insulated door is very quiet, and so is the belt driven Lift Master garage door opener. The installer was on time and very proficient.Sorry I forgot his name. He is a Mexican with an Italian name. Overall I am very happy with this garage door replacement.

I contacted The San Jose Service Area at 7:21AM, Friday 30th August. After explaining to the receptionist my issue and after taking some information she arranged to have a technician contact me between 12:30PM and 4:30 PM. Mike contacted me at 10:20AM to say he would be available at 11:30AM. He arrived on time and reviewed the issue and gave me a quote. I agreed and he started the job. After dismantling the broken parts he observed other issues. These he showed me and again gave me the cost of replacing them. I agreed and he finished the job just before Noon. He was very polite, professional, and I would recommend him and the company to friends, neighbors, and acquaintances for the 5 star service.

Would you like to pay $50.00 for someone coming down to tell the quote and not taking their service ? This is what Precision business model does. I got a spring broken and call Precision. One guy came in and tried to convince me that I need to replace everything for $2300+ in total. The same garage door opener is ~300 from Homedepot and they charge ~800. The spring price is ~400 while I got it done at $309 from other company. By the time I have to let Precision's guy go, I realized that I had to pay them $50.00 for their doing nothing but coming down to give me a quote. If you are going to have their business anyway, why do you waste time on reading the reviews here ? If you are just looking for possibilities to have Precision's service, DO NOT CALL them at all !!! Keep in mind that is $50.00 call to get a quote only.

Our garage door spring broke the day after Thanksgiving. I chose to call Precision Door service based on Excellent reviews and rating on Google and they truly delivered. I got a next day appointment on a holiday weekend in spite of rain and cold, windy weather. Brandon arrived on time after his earlier call and diagnosed the problem immediately and also pointed out that rollers, drums and several bearings were worn out (they were 30+ years old which came with the door). He went over the options and we chose to get them replaced instead of a new door. The job was done very efficiently and professionally. Our garage door is now very quiet and smooth like a new one and we saved a bunch of money. Thanks for an outstanding service. Highly recommended.
