Our garage door opener spring broke on a Sunday and our vehicle was stuck in the garage. We called Precision, having seen their commercials on TV, and booked service for Monday morning. Their service tech., Antonio, showed up promptly and gave us quotes for the recommended service. We opted for the recommended service and two hours later our garage door was operating like new. Antonio was polite, professional, friendly, and very efficient in his work. We will call precision for any future garage door problems, and will recommend them to our friends.

Fast, efficient, and complete service in one visit. Antonio was really good! He knew his job, and had all the tools to get it done. He worked quickly and efficiently, and addressed my needs at every step in the process. Given the age of the opener I was using, and the wear and tear over the past 24 years, upgrading to a new opener and springs was what I needed. Antonio cleaned up as he went, so that when he was finished, he simply put his tools away and was able to drive away. My 20 plus year old garage door just died and broke. Precision sent over Antonio. They gave me a four hour window, but it seemed like he headed over almost immediately. He’s very professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. He even left my garage cleaner then when he got there. He right away put me at ease about what needed to be done and said everything went smooth as butter. I would definitely recommend him and precision.

The service was okay, the spring was rewound (no new parts) and the door was put back on the tracks What I did not like was the pushy service to spend 2k+ on replacing a perfectly good door. The tech kept telling me this will fail soon and said good luck when leaving. I don't need nylon wheels etc. which he was trying to sell me. The servicing also did not do any maintenance on the track or gears by adding grease etc. When I replaced the capacitor for maintenance, I also checked the gears, and they were dry, so I added grease myself. The kicker was that the door did come off the rails a month or 2 later. The cause was not the door rather the rails that was not tightened to the wall after it was loosened to adjust. I put the door back and tightened the screws to the wall. All is good now.
