When I discovered a broken spring on my garage door I call the company I last used for repairs. They couldn’t come for four days! I hung up and called Precision. The technician arrived early morning, was very enthusiastic and quickly installed the new door hardware. The main problem is the technician did not know how to adjust the hardware so the door could be opened by one person. The spring pressure was not enough to mostly help open the door. I finally had to show/convince him to increase the tension on the springs to allow one to open the door. This a very large door and not probably typical to what the technician normally runs into.

Paul did a great job! I had not had maintenance done in a few years so that was completed. Plus, I wanted a new opener with battery backup. Now, when door opens and closes, it’s so quiet!

Thought it was a bit expensive for not replacing any parts and taking only 10-15 minutes to do. I could barely understand Mejia Paul. Am glad the door is fixed, however!

Very fast, efficient service, if a little expensive. I called on a Tuesday and the springs, cable, rollers, etc. were all replaced in short order on Wednesday. The technician arrived early in the appointment window and finished the job in under two hours. Also had a good experience talking to the customer service reps., who were all polite, helpful, spoke clearly, etc. Note the availability of a service fee coupon this web site (scroll down).

We had a broken spring on our garage door. Called for repair, but wound up having a new garage door opener, new wiring, cables, rollers, etc. installed per the technician's (Paulino) recommendation. Our old opener was 15 yrs. old & pretty tired. The technician arrived on time, called before he arrived, was fast, efficient, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. Our new opener is fabulous. It has way better LED lighting, and operates quietly and smoothly. Love it. Would use Precision Garage door again in a heartbeat. Also, when I called for repair, the scheduler was very pleasant and professional. She arranged the earliest possible appointment within a few hours of my call. Amazing and redeems my faith in humanity.

Terrible experience. First of all, I could barely understand 1/4 of what the tech was saying. Second, he tried to say that EVERYTHING was broken - the garage door opener, the sensors, the spring, the rollers on the actual door. Perhaps I needed a new door too. He asked if I had homeowner's insurance to cover it. Then he pressured me to buy a new opener to the tune of $1,000! I "needed" it and if I didn't do it now, I'd still have to pay the service call. I said I'd gladly pay the fee and find someone else thank you and I did. Nothing wrong but the opener. Replaced it and with installation for a total of $535.

Excellent work. The Technician was done in under an hour. Materials were a little pricey but overall completely satisfied with the results.

1 star because they said they will call 30 minute before heading to my house. My appointment is from 12 to 4 they call me at 3:50 to tell me me there in front of my house.

Paulino came right on time, was able to open the stuck door then repaired both of our doors in a few hours. He had to replace two garage door openers, belt rail, torsion spring, rollers, drums, end bearing plates, center bearing plates and remote. He worked very hard and was always pleasant even though it was hot in the garage. We would definitely call Precision again and would surely recommend them for garage door repairs.

This company ripped me off by replacing a garage door vault lock which took him five minutes to do and then charged me over 343 dollars. The very same part at Home Depot is 12 bucks. Then he tried to sell me things I didn’t need like a complete new opener and door springs. I will never use this company again

Professionalism and prompt service from the initial call to the technician (Paulino M) completing the work was exceptional. Was impressed with the individual who answered the call (believe it was Melissa). She was very thorough and clear with her communications. She was professional in scheduling the service and ensuring all the details were correct. Excellent customer support, you are fortunate to have her on your team! Paulino M arrived ahead of schedule (same day of the initial call) and called when he was 20 minutes from arriving. Upon arrival Paulino was quick to ascertain the garage door failure (Torsion spring) and recommended replacing both springs and the Torsion Spring Center support precision bearings, which I agreed. He also made a recommendation to replace the door drums and a couple other wearing parts which I felt could wait and he didn’t pressure me. As for the pricing for the springs and bearing I was disappointed. I’ve owned a company for many years and understand how parts are marked up to cover a companies overhead costs. The highest quality springs on the market are less than half what we were charged and moderate quality springs are 1/3 the cost. As for the bearings, I was shocked to see the charge for the bearings, since I work with bearings. The markup was 4x and unjustified since most individuals are not familiar with this and would not question or investigate a realistic cost for this 2 Pack Garage Door Torsion Spring Center Support Precision Bearing. Overall, we received excellent, prompt, professional, and courteous service. Would have applied 5 stars, however the markup on replacement parts was excessive and disappointing. One final note, if anyone at Precision Door Service would like to disagree with my observations, I would be open to discussing this and make an amendment if proven incorrect.

I searched on Bing and they came up. I got an appointment for the next day. They arrived on time calling me to let me know they were on their way. Repairs were quick and replaced with new coils which are better than the ones I had. Great Job!

I contacted Precision yesterday with an automatic door that didn't work. 12 hours later I have an almost 50 year old garage door that operates more quietly and smoothly than it did when I bought the house a decade and a half ago. The technician, who arrived early this morning, was very professional and gave me three choices for repairs. His professional manner made me decide on the most involved reconditioning. This is not to say that we waltzed down the yellow brick road. There was a mix up with my payment. To me this was where the company really shined. They called me and promptly cleared up the situation. In my dealings with home repairs I have never had such a seamless interaction. FIVE STARS!!

Seems to work well! Sadly the tech left the old sensors in place instead of replacing them with the new ones! I'm so tired of having to watch people in the trades and their dishonesty!!! Charged full price but got less than full service!!!
