Raised in Minnesota, I came to California in the '80's. I was born to do this job, I have the knack for fixing things plus my height comes in handy for working on things overhead. I installed my first Garage Door in 1980 while in the Air National Guard. I have been fixing things for clients my whole life. When I'm not working I enjoy dining out or catching a movie with family or friends. I also like to travel, and am a fan of the TV show Family Guy. I'm often playing Texas Hold 'em Saturday nights. I enjoy working with clients, I always put the customer first. I will not just fix it, I will be sure you are satisfied with the job, and all your questions are answered.

Paul’s work was outstanding—swift and meticulous. I truly value and appreciate the quality he delivered. However, I have concerns regarding the billing. While I believe Paul’s expertise warrants the cost, the breakdown suggesting a significant portion went to materials feels off. I’ve seen similar components on Home Depot and Amazon for half the price. I’m more than willing to pay for Paul’s professionalism, but I’d prefer not to feel overcharged for materials.

I had a spring and cable issue. The garage door tracks were bowed from the weight of the half collapsed door. Paul gave me a list of options that would do the repair. The work was performed after a few hours. He had all the parts on hand. He was professional and courteous. Glad I called Precision.

I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service at around 10:30AM due to my garage door malfunction. I gave a description of the problem and was told a Technician would arrive between 12:00 and 4:00PM , and I would also receive a call prior to the Techs arrival. Paul Brinkman called me at 12:45PM and informed me that he would arrive by 1:15PM. Paul arrived before 1:15PM. He was polite and friendly. Utilizing his years of experience and technical talents, Paul quickly assessed the situation, and informed me of the actions he could take to repair the garage door. I agreed to the repairs. Paul repaired the garage door and exceeded my expectations for the garage door service repair. Paul Brinkman is a totally awesome Tech!

Paul kept in contact with me throughout the day updating me on when he would be arriving. He inspected the garage door, springs, and the opener and came up with ideas on how to repair/ replace the unit. He provided 3 options and gave honest details for each. What an outstanding job Paul Brickman did with our 37-year-old failing garage door and intermittent opener/mechanism! The original opener was installed when we built our home, with minimum to no maintenance done thereafter. I'm so pleased that I found “Precision Garage Door Co. in our Santa Clara “Diamond Certified Directory” They set up an appointment for the very next day. Paul, our technician, arrived at our home on time and explained what needed to be done either for a temporary fix or to replace the mechanism completely with all the new parts needed. Paul took the time to show me the worn-out parts, explain why they should be replaced and to answer all the technical questions I had. My wife and I agreed to do the project the “RIGHT WAY” and Paul got started. He had all the necessary parts on his truck without going back to the warehouse. When he had finished the installation, Paul took the time to explain to my wife and me the operation and safety features of the newly installed opener. I’m sure our repair took longer than he expected as he left around 11:15 PM. I would unquestionably recommend “Precision Garage Door Co” to anyone needing garage door repairs.
