Raised in Minnesota, I came to California in the '80's. I was born to do this job, I have the knack for fixing things plus my height comes in handy for working on things overhead. I installed my first Garage Door in 1980 while in the Air National Guard. I have been fixing things for clients my whole life. When I'm not working I enjoy dining out or catching a movie with family or friends. I also like to travel, and am a fan of the TV show Family Guy. I'm often playing Texas Hold 'em Saturday nights. I enjoy working with clients, I always put the customer first. I will not just fix it, I will be sure you are satisfied with the job, and all your questions are answered.

For about 2weeks now, the garage opener start having a loud clicking noise when it goes up. Thank you Paul Brinkman. Came out on Labor day, spotted the problem right away and replaced the center bearing plate right away. 2weeks of worrying gone in a blink of an eye.

One of the springs on our roll up door became broken. Called Precision from seeing their commercials on tv. Paul B showed up on time the next morning. Reviewed the broken springs and recommended replacing the bearings and rollers. Granted the door was over 20 years old and I knew, it needed some attention. Paul was courteous and honest and completed the work within the 2 hour time frame that he said. The door works like new again. I advise Paul B that I would use Precision again, when another problem comes up. I would recommend Precision to my neighbors and friends. Bill D.

Had the same guy for 3 appointments. His knowledge was average. His attitude was dismissive and condescending. He had no idea how to work MyQ which is a selling point to the garage motor I bought. He literally said "you're on your own" and wouldn't answer a single question. Next time I will go with a different company.

One star--called ahead and arrived within time framework Garage door was opening and closing without any problem. I intended to purchase a new Lift Master, as the one I have cannot read new technology allowing me to program it for my new Lexus. I called and was expecting to pay $614 plus tax and labor to install. The worker would not install the Lift Master without new springs and bearings---cost $1,576.77.

This is an outstanding company with exceptional service. From the very first point of contact to the completion of the job they are entirely professional. It’s not often you deal with a company that knows how to do business like Precision Door. I feel so lucky I found them when my garage door came crashing down. I first called the company that installed the door. They weren’t able to come out until the next day….so I called someone who sounded good. That was Precision. My appointment was swiftly set up for the same day. Confirmation was immediately sent by email and a time slot was given. The gentleman coming to repair my door, Paul Brinkman, called and let me know exactly when he would arrive. He was here exactly when he said. Paul saw the problem (which wasn’t straightforward) and readily thought through how to tackle it. He was totally professional and explained what he was going to do. I was amazed at how quickly and expertly he got the job done. In addition, he was very personable. It was like having a good neighbor over to help. Besides, Paul, as a cat lover, reached out to my kitty and my cat gave him his seal of approval by allowing Paul to hold him. Doesn’t get much better than that! Can't thank Pat Pendergrass enough for the help, advice and professionalism of his work. Only a few days before Christmas we had myriad of issues going on at my elderly father's home. Fixing a garage door that wasn't opening was the least of my worries, but was an issue that quickly needed to be addressed. Pat gave me reasonable options on how he could go about fixing, ultimately deciding replacing the opener altogether was the best bang for my buck. The work was done neatly and on time. The only problem I had was that the outside control pad used to open and close the door was not working properly. I called your customer service and they said that they would contact the person, Paul Brinkman, who did the installation. Since it was in the evening and Paul had been working all day, I expected that the work would be done the next day. I was surprised when he called and said that he'd be over as soon as he finished the last scheduled job for that evening. Now there's a worker who is dedicated to his work and and his customers. He arrived that evening and did the necessary adjustments and all was well. It is so great to have a company with workers who show much pride in their work.

Yesterman the top panel of my garage door broke off from the rest of the door leaving my garage exposed. I called Precision at 1PM on a Friday. Within 3 hours technician Paul Brinkman arrived. He was kind, competent, respectful and efficient. He not only fixed the garage door, but reccommended some upgrades which I really appreciated! We needed a repair on our very old garage door system. I called Precision and they sent someone out that very same day to inspect, quote and repair. That someone was Paul. Paul was very friendly and professional. He gave me all my options and what they all entailed. He completed the job in the time frame that he quoted. When finished, he explained and demonstrated all functions of my new system. I would highly recommend Precision and Paul as the technician.
