I called Precision and scheduled an appointment for my garage door which was operating sluggish. Technician came on time and told me I needed all the hardware on my door needed to be replaced or have a new door installed. I asked the Precision technician if the door springs could be wound up a bit more to help out the door in the opening mode. The technician declined. The cost of the door hardware replacement was $1600.00 and a new door was $3200.00. After sleeping on this garage door issue, I called another business, which I've used before to take a look at my door. They came, wound both door springs, lubricated the screw drive shaft and the screw carrier/rails. The garage door opened and closed like new!

Quick service (around 45 minutes), and Sheridan gave us 2 choices for repair of the garage door. We chose to save the replacement of cables until the next service. I found Precision Door Services in a 2019 Diamond Certified Directory. The company was not listed in the Buy Local phone book for Campbell, Los Gatos, & Saratoga.

This was a bait and switch scam. The claim their trip/service fees are low but then charged another $99 for a five minute programming fee for my elderly mother’s garage door opener. Will never recommend this company to anyone!!

It was nice to find a company that works on the weekend. I would have hated to leave my car out for several days. The technicians arrived on time, explained and showed me exactly what the problems were, and after giving me an estimate, promptly and efficiently completed the repairs.

The Precision Door Service installed our second garage door 5 years ago. They were very professional and personable. We had no problem with the door till early this morning. I had trouble opening the garage door and had to disengage it. They immediately booked a service in a same day. But it ended up nothing was wrong with the door but some insect blocked a sensor. We appreciated our service man, Jonathan coming all the way just to find a little spider in the sensor. THANK YOU!

Philip was courteous, friendly, and above all, professional. He made the needed repairs and tests. He went beyond the minimum by installing a larger wire to handle the digital signals and he secured the control pad on the wall. I would like to have his service again some time. Professionalism and prompt service from the initial call to the technician (Paulino M) completing the work was exceptional. Was impressed with the individual who answered the call (believe it was Melissa). She was very thorough and clear with her communications. She was professional in scheduling the service and ensuring all the details were correct. Excellent customer support, you are fortunate to have her on your team! Paulino M arrived ahead of schedule (same day of the initial call) and called when he was 20 minutes from arriving. Upon arrival Paulino was quick to ascertain the garage door failure (Torsion spring) and recommended replacing both springs and the Torsion Spring Center support precision bearings, which I agreed. He also made a recommendation to replace the door drums and a couple other wearing parts which I felt could wait and he didn’t pressure me. As for the pricing for the springs and bearing I was disappointed. I’ve owned a company for many years and understand how parts are marked up to cover a companies overhead costs. The highest quality springs on the market are less than half what we were charged and moderate quality springs are 1/3 the cost. As for the bearings, I was shocked to see the charge for the bearings, since I work with bearings. The markup was 4x and unjustified since most individuals are not familiar with this and would not question or investigate a realistic cost for this 2 Pack Garage Door Torsion Spring Center Support Precision Bearing. Overall, we received excellent, prompt, professional, and courteous service. Would have applied 5 stars, however the markup on replacement parts was excessive and disappointing. One final note, if anyone at Precision Door Service would like to disagree with my observations, I would be open to discussing this and make an amendment if proven incorrect.

Phillip Nguyen was very professional and did a great work repairing our garage door. He fixed everything that needed to get fixed in about an hour. After he was done with the repairs he took the time to go over with me to make sure everything was properly working. He gave me some tips about the regular maintenance to the garage door to extend the life of it. Price was fair and he did an excellent job. We are 100% satisfied with the services. This is the second time we have use the services of Precision Door Service and I recommend them 100%.

Garage door cable broke on a Saturday afternoon. Precision Door was at my house the next morning and the problem was solved in an hour and a half. The technician was knowledgeable and offered two solutions; one cheaper but with a shorter service life, the other a bit more expensive but a longer service life. Very pleased with the service.

This is the most shady business i've dealt with so far 60+ years in my life. the guy Sheridan Abad came to give an estimate to fix the door that fell off the roller but insisted that the door is no good, unfixable, had to dismantle it and rebuild the whole thing for a cost of $2046.53! he said he was generous and would even give a $25 discount on this and took $49.95 to give such an advice and quote. this is all in spite of the fact i convinced him the door came off the roller and just needed the pulley/drum to be reengaged. well, i just called another garage door repair and he came and put it back for $153.00 and even adjusted the spring tension for free. i'm not sure why you guys are in the business trying hard to rip off even knowledgable customers. don't know how may naive customers fell a prey for you to build your empire that definitely you don't deserve. looks like i HAVE to give at least one star to complete this or the system won't take the feedback, else i really wanted to give NEGATIVE 5 stars on your work.
