The technician, Nathaniel, called as promised to advise he was 20 minutes away. This is nice to allow me, the customer, the be ready when he arrives. He was friendly and understood the situation. He listened to my concerns and took ownership of the situation. After a few minutes I was presented with two options for repair. I made my decision and he promptly started the repairs. Within 60-90 minutes, he was done. We tested the doors functionality. He showed me what he did and reiterated the warranty on the work and parts. Nathaniel Was a pleasure to work with and for any future projects, I’d like him as my service technician.

Everything was terrific, the entire process. I've had problems with my garage door for years that I endlessly tried to fix myself. I even had other companies come out and try to fix the issues but their solutions never worked long term. Precision came out within hours of my initial call, quickly diagnosed my problems, gave me 3 detailed solution options, and completed super high end work right away. The literally solved years worth of problems in just a couple of quick hours. Super happy with their work and service and would highly recommend them over anyone else!

I was very impressed with your timely service. The technician assessed my door and told me I needed to upgrade all the hardware. He quoted over $400. I told him my friend who was a garage door repairman had diagnosed a loose cable. That’s all I wanted repaired at this time. He took 10 minutes to tighten the cable and sprayed some WD40. He charged me $235 for a 10 minute task. I feel the charge was most unreasonable. Don’t think I would make Precision Door my first call next time.

We contacted Precision to get a spring replaced that broke in the morning. They easily accommodated us and had a tech come out a few hours later. Our tech, Joel was professional, on-time and super chill! Great guy to work with. He replaced the spring and suggested other part replacements too. After he left, our garage was so quiet and runs very well now. great customer service! Will use them again for any garage needs in the future.

I contacted Precision Garage Door in order to get my garage door repaired. The large spring at the top of the door had broken and the door would not open. I scheduled my appointment on-line and they were able to come out the same day. Paul, the technician, explained what needed to be done to fix the problem and also made some suggestions on some maintenance issues. We had Paul complete the necessary repairs and also asked him to replace the garage door opener with a newer model. He handled everything in a very timely manner and was extremely professional throughout the process. Once completed, the door works great and the new opener is so much better than what we originally had. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

I was able to get an appointment really quickly for the day after Thanksgiving because I called late in the day before. The Tech, Paul Brinkman, was even a little early. I had two broken screws and needed an extra remote. I also showed him that the bottom of the door had been damaged when some other workmen opened it manually and let it slam when pushing it closed. Garage door originally bought from Precision, long time ago and I think from that time we had to call Precision onl y once, until this time. Technician came on time, was polite, did his work, all seems fixed, and I would gladly recommend Precision to anyone in need of service. My daughter was here afterwards and I told her about it and she said if she ever needed service, she would contact your office. She lives in east bay, contra costa county. One small item- since technician had a rather heavy accent and I haave severe hearing problems (I am 99!) conversation was a bit difficult! This in no way affected his work!!

I called for an appointment and the dispatcher was kind and got me an appointment for the same day. She said Jose would call me 30 minutes before arrival. I got a call from Paulino during the designated time window and he was already at the house. So it looks like they switched technicians maybe for scheduling reasons. It turns out my garage opener was not broken as it was functioning there. But Paulino started telling me I should replace all these things (springs were too "small"), wheels on garage door needed to be replaced, pulley needed to be replaced, etc. Then he said, "You don't want to change the motor?" He went onto his iPad and started adding up all this stuff. The quote was over two grand. I felt as though as if he was just upselling me on a lot of stuff that I didn't need. I told him I didn't want to do all that stuff, so he took some items off and asked me if that price was ok. I said no, so he took more stuff off and asked if the price was ok. I said no, then he took more stuff off and said this is the bare minimum. At that point, I honestly didn't trust his recommendations. It felt like a pure sales job to try to maximize the items and services they sell to customers. He wasn't pushy at all, but he seemed to be in a hurry because it was his last call for the night. I politely declined everything and just paid the $69.95 service call fee, which was fine. I've dealt with service managers at all kinds of car dealerships (Toyota, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Subaru). This service call felt like I was at a Toyota dealership. They tell you that you need all these things and that your garage door will break or is too heavy for those springs and the garage opener. This might shock you, but we have a solid wood garage door that is very heavy. We have a LiftMaster garage door opener that is ORIGINAL from when the house was built. We have owned the house since 1990 and I personally repaired that LiftMaster once about 25 years ago when the motor stripped the plastic gear inside. It's never been repaired since. The only entry to the garage is through the garage door as it's a detached garage. So I kind of laughed when he wanted me to buy a new garage opener for $1,400. Overall, it's easy to get an appointment on the same day with these guys. I don't know if my technician tried to sell me all those things on his own or if they are encouraged to do so. I prefer it when you don't feel as though you are being upsold. Technician was nice though and he didn't seem pissed when I said I'll just pay for the service call. Your experience may vary, but that's my experience.
