Quick service (around 45 minutes), and Sheridan gave us 2 choices for repair of the garage door. We chose to save the replacement of cables until the next service. I found Precision Door Services in a 2019 Diamond Certified Directory. The company was not listed in the Buy Local phone book for Campbell, Los Gatos, & Saratoga.

This was a bait and switch scam. The claim their trip/service fees are low but then charged another $99 for a five minute programming fee for my elderly mother’s garage door opener. Will never recommend this company to anyone!!

Garage door cable broke on a Saturday afternoon. Precision Door was at my house the next morning and the problem was solved in an hour and a half. The technician was knowledgeable and offered two solutions; one cheaper but with a shorter service life, the other a bit more expensive but a longer service life. Very pleased with the service.

This is the most shady business i've dealt with so far 60+ years in my life. the guy Sheridan Abad came to give an estimate to fix the door that fell off the roller but insisted that the door is no good, unfixable, had to dismantle it and rebuild the whole thing for a cost of $2046.53! he said he was generous and would even give a $25 discount on this and took $49.95 to give such an advice and quote. this is all in spite of the fact i convinced him the door came off the roller and just needed the pulley/drum to be reengaged. well, i just called another garage door repair and he came and put it back for $153.00 and even adjusted the spring tension for free. i'm not sure why you guys are in the business trying hard to rip off even knowledgable customers. don't know how may naive customers fell a prey for you to build your empire that definitely you don't deserve. looks like i HAVE to give at least one star to complete this or the system won't take the feedback, else i really wanted to give NEGATIVE 5 stars on your work.

Last night we had a spring break on our garage door and I couldn't open the door safely. I called our normal garage door guy and he said it would be a week before he could get to us. On a referral from a colleague I called Precision. From the first call I was impressed by the thoroughness and professional way my call was handled. She took down all my contact information and repeated it back to me so there was no mistake. She gave me a four hour window when our technician would be there and then I received an email confirming everything. Jim called about 40 minutes before he showed up. Right in the middle of the window and was there when he said he was going to arrive. Jim had an apprentice with him, Don was his name as I recall, and Don did the quote under the guidance of Jim and they both worked together to do the repair. The door now works perfectly and we are happy and satisfied at the way it was all handled. All the while they were working Jim and I talked about several topics he was able to do this while doing his half of the repair and QA'd his apprentice. Very professional. Definitely a 5 star rating, maybe even 6 stars if it was possible.

I contacted Precision yesterday with an automatic door that didn't work. 12 hours later I have an almost 50 year old garage door that operates more quietly and smoothly than it did when I bought the house a decade and a half ago. The technician, who arrived early this morning, was very professional and gave me three choices for repairs. His professional manner made me decide on the most involved reconditioning. This is not to say that we waltzed down the yellow brick road. There was a mix up with my payment. To me this was where the company really shined. They called me and promptly cleared up the situation. In my dealings with home repairs I have never had such a seamless interaction. FIVE STARS!!
