Our garage door spring broke the day after Thanksgiving. I chose to call Precision Door service based on Excellent reviews and rating on Google and they truly delivered. I got a next day appointment on a holiday weekend in spite of rain and cold, windy weather. Brandon arrived on time after his earlier call and diagnosed the problem immediately and also pointed out that rollers, drums and several bearings were worn out (they were 30+ years old which came with the door). He went over the options and we chose to get them replaced instead of a new door. The job was done very efficiently and professionally. Our garage door is now very quiet and smooth like a new one and we saved a bunch of money. Thanks for an outstanding service. Highly recommended.

I found your information in a Diamond Certified Directory, From my initial call I was treated professionally and the employee that arrived, on time as promised, Jerry was very knowledgeable and explained his findings and what needed to be done to correct my issues. Service was completely promptly by Paulino. Thanks for coming out the next morning...HOWEVER... it cost us $1000 instead of $350 for just the springs! I had a broken spring on the left side...which meant both springs needed to be replaced for "safety" reasons. After looking at the door, Paulino suggested we replace the 4" rollers (10 of them $325.00) and 2 loose bearings ($250).... I felt it was a TOTAL up-sell (money maker for them)...and we didn't have time to look into what could possible be wrong with the rollers. Felt scammed. The job was complete in 45 minutes...FAST! That was a quick $1000 for Precision. Geez.

Today, I had an opportunity to meet Mario and Alex. They came to the house, provided a diagnosis and repaired my garage door in less than two hours. I contacted The San Jose Service Area at 7:21AM, Friday 30th August. After explaining to the receptionist my issue and after taking some information she arranged to have a technician contact me between 12:30PM and 4:30 PM. Mike contacted me at 10:20AM to say he would be available at 11:30AM. He arrived on time and reviewed the issue and gave me a quote. I agreed and he started the job. After dismantling the broken parts he observed other issues. These he showed me and again gave me the cost of replacing them. I agreed and he finished the job just before Noon. He was very polite, professional, and I would recommend him and the company to friends, neighbors, and acquaintances for the 5 star service.

I contacted Precision after having hired competitors twice to first install a garage door and then a second vendor for a servicing need. Both of these experiences left me feeling as though I had been taken for a ride. This time I called Precision based on reviews and I am leaving this review as Mike, Precision Technician, fixed my door providing a complete overiview of issues during estimate, proposing a fix and in the end saving me time and money (he went out of his way to minimize the impact for me). He was professional and most of all honest and concerned. I will look no further then Precision should I ever need garage door services. And I will recommend to all who ask and likely some who don't.

The spring on our garage door broke on Saturday morning. I called precision and they had a man out to fix it by 3:00pm. Jerry explained everything to us and did a great job. We would recommend Jerry and Precision Door to all. We did upgrade our opener. It was so old you couldn’t get parts for it anymore. The door works like a charm. Very quiet and much safer. Thank you Jerry aNd Precision Door for working on the weekend.
