Your installer was here at my home, started to work, and then told me I had to replace both springs, I said I did not want to replace both just the one that was broken, he said he could not do it, I said the last guy that fixed my door about 4 to 5 years ago did, he said I will not do it, he said it was hazard. I told him what are you trying to do, nickel and dime me He got all huffy and said he did not like my attitude, and was going to leave. I told him that I called his company and they said they would fix my door, now fix it. He then told me that I need to replace a bushing, I looked at it and ask how much to replace, he told me and I said just put in the old one, it look good. He then said I will not guarantee the work, because I did not have him put in the bushing. He told me that I would get a 5 % discount because I am 80 years old. I am very active in business and look to live a long time and turn my business over to my two sons. I have owned a lot, yes a lot of Real Estate, and I will tell you that with the way this went about, I most likely will not call your company in the future I never received a written quote on the work to be done, the lady that that I spoke with on the the phone said it would be $175.oo to replace the broken spring. The bill was 430.oo I am not happy with what transpired. The gentleman who worked on my door, in my estimation, if he worked for me and spoke to one of customers, like he spoke to me, he would not be working for me very long. Your rating in my book is 2 One last question, does the workman make your company policy Your rating in my book is about a (2 ) two

Albert, Thank you for your feedback. I hope our conversation was helpful. Yes, we do charge more to install the parts than you can buy parts at a store. Our parts are higher quality than those sold in retail stores and many are made especially for Precision Garage Door. Additionally it is quite expensive in California to run a service business that comes to your home. We incur costs for people to answer the phone, training our technicians for months, worker's compensation insurance, payroll taxes, truck expenses, advertising... I am glad your door is working well.

Talked to 5 different companies about our new garage door. Precision seemed like the most honest and professional, so went with them. Whole job went off no problem. I have used you before and no reason not to call again next time. I always find Precision Garage Door to be one of the most professional service companies anywhere. This time Mike gave us excellent service. Came on time, clean uniform, and he and the people on the phone kept us up to date on when he would arrive. Malek T. arrived within the pre-scheduled time frame and analyzed necessary work to be done to our damaged garage door. He explained what would be required and took time to be sure we understood the repair that was necessary and approximately how long the job would take. Mike showed up exactly at start of the visit window, which to me was a big plus given that I had lots of other things to do. He was very quick in getting the job done. Plus, he was very friendly and patient, and his job was pristine. Good job! Keep up the good work!
