You sent out a man to repair my garage door opener. After examining it thoroughly, he couldn't figure out what the problem was. So I paid him for his time and he left. Now I'm out $49.95 and I don't know any more than I did before he came here. That sucks!

Called Precision because they did a great job before. I am very happy with Precision again coming same day like they nice woman on the phone said they would and having all the parts needed to fix my garage door right then. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. No reason to risk calling someone else and who knows what kind of service and parts you get.

Everything and everyone was very professional. They send an email confirming appointment time and place right after we book the appointment, James our technician calls us ahead of time to let us know he is coming and shows up in the 2 hour window he said he would. He explains the work that needs to be done and the price and quickly gets our door working again. Highly recommend.

Your installer was here at my home, started to work, and then told me I had to replace both springs, I said I did not want to replace both just the one that was broken, he said he could not do it, I said the last guy that fixed my door about 4 to 5 years ago did, he said I will not do it, he said it was hazard. I told him what are you trying to do, nickel and dime me He got all huffy and said he did not like my attitude, and was going to leave. I told him that I called his company and they said they would fix my door, now fix it. He then told me that I need to replace a bushing, I looked at it and ask how much to replace, he told me and I said just put in the old one, it look good. He then said I will not guarantee the work, because I did not have him put in the bushing. He told me that I would get a 5 % discount because I am 80 years old. I am very active in business and look to live a long time and turn my business over to my two sons. I have owned a lot, yes a lot of Real Estate, and I will tell you that with the way this went about, I most likely will not call your company in the future I never received a written quote on the work to be done, the lady that that I spoke with on the the phone said it would be $175.oo to replace the broken spring. The bill was 430.oo I am not happy with what transpired. The gentleman who worked on my door, in my estimation, if he worked for me and spoke to one of customers, like he spoke to me, he would not be working for me very long. Your rating in my book is 2 One last question, does the workman make your company policy Your rating in my book is about a (2 ) two

Albert, Thank you for your feedback. I hope our conversation was helpful. Yes, we do charge more to install the parts than you can buy parts at a store. Our parts are higher quality than those sold in retail stores and many are made especially for Precision Garage Door. Additionally it is quite expensive in California to run a service business that comes to your home. We incur costs for people to answer the phone, training our technicians for months, worker's compensation insurance, payroll taxes, truck expenses, advertising... I am glad your door is working well.

Malek T. arrived within the pre-scheduled time frame and analyzed necessary work to be done to our damaged garage door. He explained what would be required and took time to be sure we understood the repair that was necessary and approximately how long the job would take. I called the ad in the yellow pages and reached Precision right away. I would give 5 stars but the technician had to come back and fix his work. This is a good garage door company.
